Trail Crew has been busy playing in the clay and rocks in the Art Nord area. On Middle Fork trail they went after the worst segments of trail, segments that were cupped 12-18" deep. In working this area they were able to eliminate the cupping and return the trail back to trail bench, with added drainage to protect the the trail for years to come.

They have made our way over to Upper Wheeler's, above the Icebox intersection where we are completing similar repairs. Trail braiding has also been an issue in spots, so they have returned these spots to a single trail bench with added drainage.

Their goal is to retain the natural character of the trail while facilitating drainage in spots where drainage was non-existent.
