Our crew officially kicked off work on the new Dog Pond trail from 27th this week. This week the crew focused on clearing corridor, cutting tread with the mini excavator, and following up with handwork to shape and clean it up.

His favorite ways to recreate on the trail are trail running, hiking, and occasionally mountain biking. When it comes to trail snacks, he keeps it simple with Rice Krispy bars, trail mix, and electrolyte drinks. After getting out on the trails almost daily since moving here, Fabi decided it was time to give back. He’s passionate about getting others involved too, whether that’s volunteering, donating, joining the Peak Challenge, or helping spread the word. Be sure to say hi if you see him out on the trails!

James Peak is currently listed as a bonus peak, but access remains limited due to ongoing construction. The main route is closed, and other routes are still under construction and restricted. At this time, there’s no confirmed reopening date.
