Hiking our trails nearly every morning over the past 20 years, I feel deeply connected to our mountains. I know I am not alone in loving our trails, but because I am often hiking on my own, my love for these places has often felt solitary and even a little selfish. When construction began on the 27th Street Trailhead, I was forced to contend with the fact that I share these beautiful trails with people who have a variety of needs, wishes, and interests. Looking beyond myself, I am passionate about being a part of the decisions being made on behalf of our community and our trails both now and in the future. I am thrilled to be a part of TFNU.

TFNU staff, trail crew, board Trail Committee members, and partners from Ogden Trails Network, Utah Trails, and Antelope Island State Park came together for a 2-day IMBA Trail Care Clinic. An intensive workshop focused on building sustainable trails specific to Ogden’s landscape.
