
The Ogden Mountain Film Festival is gearing up to celebrate the adventures and breathtaking landscapes of Ogden, Utah! Presented by the Trails Foundation of Northern Utah, OMFF is on the hunt for short films that capture the heart-pounding excitement and sheer beauty of exploring our local mountains.
This is for you, both seasoned pros and aspiring amateurs alike! We want to see your outdoor escapades, from hikes and trail runs, biking and skiing adventures. All outdoor recreation pursuits are welcome.

But remember, these films are not just about the thrill; they're about preserving our natural playground for generations to come. Let's champion safe trail etiquette and uphold the sacred principles of leave no trace. Together, we can protect and cherish our backyard landscapes.
Selected films will take center stage at the iconic Egyptian Theater in Ogden, Utah, on Thursday, November 5th.
Film submission deadline: October 9th. Filmmakers will be notified between October 12–16 if their film is selected.

Rules & Terms
Our selection process:
- Our panel of judges will be selecting 6-10 films, ranging from 3 min to 20 min in length.
- By submitting, you confirm that you have obtained all necessary consents from individuals featured in your film, and that you have secured full rights to all music and audio used in your production.
- Must be filmed in the Ogden and the immediate surrounding areas on public land or open spaces.
