BST Erosion Control and Drainage Improvements

Our trail crew has been hard at work improving sections of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.

Recent work included brushing the corridor between 22nd Street and the 27th BST junction to improve visibility and access. South of 27th, the crew installed four reverse grade dips and several knicks to help manage water flow and reduce erosion. An additional reverse grade dip was added on the North Taylor Canyon Trail in an area experiencing significant erosion.

These features are designed to keep water off the trail surface, helping extend the life of the trail and improve conditions for all users.
